Communications Officer/Dispatcher

Department of Emergency Services is accepting applications for a Communications Officer/Dispatcher. The position can be full or part time and may include 12-hour shifts, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least eighteen years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Starting pay is $17.69 per hour with $1.00 per hour shift differential for the night shift.

Reliability, punctuality, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and strict adherence to confidentiality standards are necessary. Applicant must have a MT Driver’s License, reliable 24-hour transportation, and 24-hour cell and/or landline accessibility. Must be willing to be fingerprinted as part of a thorough background/criminal history check. Also, the ability to display good working relationships with co-workers, the public, and other agencies is essential.

Weed Management Technician

The Mineral County Weed District is accepting applications for a SEASONAL (late April/early May to mid-October, not to exceed 600 hours), PART-TIME (20 hours/week), position of Weed Management Technician. Starting pay is $16.14/Hr with an increase to $18.00/Hr after July 1 and successful completion of training requirements. Position will begin after May 2, 2025.
