NOTICE OF FEE INCREASE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2025

On May 8, 2025 House Bill 192, increasing County Clerk and Recorder Fees for recording documents, was signed into law.
Effective October 1, 2025, the fee for recording the first page of a document will increase from $8.00 per page to $20.00 for the first page and $10.00 for each subsequent page.

The Clerk & Recorders office is where Mineral County land documents are recorded and filed (deeds, mortgages, easements, certificates of surveys, subdivisions etc.).

Montana Birth and Death records are held and issued in this office.

Accounting, payroll and employee records are in this office.

Effective October 1, 2025, the fee for recording the first page of a document will increase from $8.00 per page to $20.00 for the first page and $10.00 for each subsequent page.
The additional cost for recording a document which does not meet the standard requirements of 7-4-2636 will remain at $10.00 per document.
