The Clerk & Recorders office is where Mineral County land documents are recorded and filed (deeds, mortgages, easements etc.).

Montana Birth and Death records are held and issued in this office.

Accounting, payroll and employee records are in this office.

Notice of Fee Changes Effective July 1st 2021

Due to the passage of House Bill 49, Recorded Documents will be $8.00 per page to record.
(An additional $10-flat fee still applies to nonstandard documents)

Due to the passage of House Bill 139 Death Certificates will be $7.00 for each certified copy.
