The Treasurer’s Office will be CLOSED for ALL Motor Vehicle Transactions on Thursday March 13th and Friday March 14th.
On Wednesday March 12 our office will be open for Registration Renewals ONLY.
The MT Department of Motor Vehicles is receiving a new motor vehicle registration system and has directed all counties not to process any motor vehicle transactions March 13th and 14th. All county offices must close out of the current motor vehicle system by close of day March 12th. THIS INCLUDES: NO Registration Renewals, NO Processing New Title and Registration Transactions, NO Reprinting Receipts.
NO PERSONALIZED PLATES CAN BE ORDERED FROM MARCH 8TH – 16TH.
BUSINESS WILL RESUME ON MONDAY MARCH 17TH AT 8:00 AM.
Beginning March 17th, in order to efficiently serve you please bring one of the following: Plate Number OR Vehicle Identification Number OR Renewal Card. (We will no longer be able to look up these items using your name.)
